property includes generous entertaining and dining areas, private courtyard gardens, an outdoor swimming pool for summer use, a second kitchen and second dining room as well as separate entrance for staff or security personnel. If required a further two guests can be accommodated in the formal library.
Cranmer is situated in the heart of Christchurch, the "Garden City". It is a short walking distance to the Town Hall/Conference Centre, the new Christchurch Art Gallery, Arts Centre, Hagley Park, Avon River, the Central Business District, Botanical Gardens, Canterbury Museum, Cathedral Square, the vibrant restaurant district and main shopping area.
The historic city tram departs from the opposite side of Cranmer Square, 100 metres from your Christchurch residence.
Features and Facilities:
On the ground floor, the main entrance leads
through a large stone entrance/reception hall into a 40 foot Great Chamber on one side and formal dining room on the other. The Great Chamber contains comfortable couches, sound system, and a collection of fine and decorative arts. The fully equipped ground floor kitchen services these areas.
The ground floor master bedroom with ensuite bathroom opens out into an intimate and private balcony and garden. It also includes a small library on a raised level.
The first floor has a formal library with a fold out double bed. A second fully equipped kitchen and a large terracotta tiled dining area extend on to a balcony. Laundry facilities are on this level.
The mezzanine floor is one large luxurious white tiled bathroom.
On the top floor are two further bedrooms; one with king and
one with super king beds. A third modern bathroom adjoins this area.
There are two walled courtyard gardens and garaging/parking for three vehicles.
