The Country Collection – The Ranch
The Maungakotukutuku Ranch is a 65 acre estate with accommodation for eight people, 45 minutes from Wellington.
It sits high above the Kapiti Coast looking westward to
Kapiti Island, an important native bird sanctuary. Magnificent coastal views stretch from the top of the South Island to the slopes of Mt Taranaki. A large ranch style house that offers a wide range of onsite facilities including swimming pool, spa pool, golf hole and tennis court. The house is only ten minutes from two golf courses, the Kapiti Coast beaches, Southward Car Museum, quality local food producers, many outdoor adventures and the Tararua National Park.
Features and Facilities:
This two storey cedar ranch style house offers accommodation for eight people. The house has expansive open living with spectacular ocean and landscape views. Two spacious living areas with stone fireplace open to a large deck. The dining area with its 18th century French provincial dining table seats twelve and adjoins a modern well-equipped kitchen.
Two
downstairs bedrooms have a double bed and two single beds. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with shower and bath, laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.
Two upstairs bedrooms each have modern ensuite bathrooms, king-size beds and stunning views. There is a small library/sitting area with a computer/communications workstation.
The Ranch offers a range of on-site recreational activities including a golf green for putting and chipping practice, swimming pool, spa pool, tennis court, games area and two BBQ's, one gas and one wood-fired which adjoins the swimming pool. A wide range of native bush walks and mountain biking tracks are also offered.

4 bedrooms; 3 bathrooms
$590 - $790 + gst for 6 persons
$50 pp per night extra up to 8 persons.
Two night minimum stay. Standard terms and conditions are set
out in the booking confirmation form.
A Concierge service can help with your visit to Maungakotukutuku. A first morning breakfast basket is provided. A private gourmet chef and/or catering for functions is available by prior arrangement at an additional charge.
